'Alfred' socks are equally happy to be worn with dress shoes or for any casual wear from sneakers to riding boots or some work boots. They're great for summer because they offer excellent comfort in shoes, but without creating too much warmth as the ribbed style ventilates your feet.

Please note, due to the natural crimp in wool fibres, these socks will shrink up to 10% when first washed. This shrinkage has been allowed for in the sizing, which is why your new socks may look a little bigger than expected when they arrive.
